Robert G. Lowery Jr. served as the Assistant Chief of Police for the City of Florissant Police Department, an internationally accredited agency located in the northern suburbs of the City of St. Louis, Missouri. During his career, he served in all areas of the department including the Uniform Patrol Division, Tactical Operations/Hostage Rescue Team, Detective Division, Professional Standards and Inspections Division. The majority of his career was spent as a detective and commander in the Crimes Against Persons Unit, where he supervised and investigated homicides, serious assaults, and sex crimes. Lowery is the former commander of the Greater St. Louis Major Crime Task Force and the former president of the International Homicide Investigator’s Association.
